This morning, Josh picked Ali, Brit and I up at 5:45 so we could go do visibility outside the voting ward. It was so cold, and the feet warmers weren't warming my feet because there wasn't enough air in my boots to cause them to react. But on the other hand, they kept my hands warm. We spent five hours outside holding our signs, finally we came back to the office and have been on the phones, literally, all day long. It's almost 8:00 p.m and the precincts are about to close so we're doing last minute calls to urge people to vote. I am so exhausted but since there's a election party for all the Clark campaign interns, volunteers and workers we are going to Bedford to party down and say our good byes. Looks like we're pulling an all nighter since we all have to met in the lobby at 5:45 a.m to go to the airport. It will be nice to go home and thaw out but it's so much fun up here, everyone is so friendly and great. I would move up here if it wasn't so cold. I've had such a blast I am so thankful for this opportunity, it's been a once in a lifetime event, totally awesome and memorable.

This morning we all met in the lobby and spoke with Mrs. S about tomorrow's primary and then we went over the process of leaving on Wednesday.
We arrived at the office around 9:30 this morning, we began preparing for the rally infront of the Nashua city hall, which was at 11:30. We made signs and then headed to the city hall early to pass out flyers around main street. It was so cold today, apparently to cold to snow. It's suppose to snow hard core tomorrow.
General Clark didn't arrive at the city hall until around 12:15, I was standing to his (nearly) immediate left. He gave a short speech and then spoke with people in the crowd. He was being bombarded by the media, but since Ali was the only one ,out of her, Brit, and myself, that didn't get a picture with him, we were determined to get her a picture. So I nicely asked his body guard if my friend could get a picture with him, his body guard said " yes, of course" and moved the press people aside for us. Right after my camera took the picture of Ali and General Clark it saved it and then died. After we thanked him, Julie, Brit, Ali and I grabbed a bit to eat and I changed the batteries in my camera to show Ali the picture (it was awesome).
Back at the office we phone banked all day, I made a spreadsheet of voting wards (precinct's) and we finished tallying all the calls information, such as, if their Clark supporters, if their leaning towards Clark, if their undecided, or if their voting for someone else. We got done at 9:30.
All the volunteers, interns, workers and staffers gathered for a picture. I've taken so many pictures!!
Although the snow will be bad tomarrow for voting purposes, I am looking forward to a white wonderland when I wake up tomorrow. :) I am also looking forward to thawing out back home in Florida, although I do love it here.

This morning we met in the conference room and spoke with a reporter from the St. Pete times who lives in D.C and is one of a few of the coraspondents there. He talked about getting the interviews and the behind the scences action involved in the campaigns.
We arrived at the office this morning and began making signs for the rally at the Daniel Webster College where Clark spoke. It was so awesome, I stood up behind the stage the whole time holding my ,women love clark, sign and I got myself in a few pictures that were on the yahoo news site. I'm noticable to me but probably not anyone else.
We're back at the office and I am so exhausted, I just need a decent nights rest.

This morning we met in the lobby and Mrs. Sourfield went over our journals, we all talked about our experiences here, some funny and some weird but all the stories shared were great. I told Mrs. Sourfield how happy I am that she brought us here because I truely am and I want her to know it. It must be so difficult and stressful to be responsible for twenty kids, she's brave. Anyways I am having the absolute time of my life, everyone is great and working the long days is great too (it's way better than regular work). I really feel like I am reaching out to people here and making a difference.
Once in the office we began hardcore, heavy duty phone banking almost all day long. Ali and I went to do visibility at the sheridan, where the 100 club dinner was happening. Brit went to the dinner, but Ali and I felt like we could be more helpful working for our campaign, plus I am so satisfied that I got my picture with General Clark the other day so I am content to work my butt off to pay him back for it.
The cops at the Sheridan told us we couldn't do visability (holding signs) at the Sheridan because it's private property, which is crazy since the democratic party rented it for the night for $90,000.00 so we should have the right to show our signs there. So I went back to the office to continue phonebanking while Ali stayed by the road with some other people to do visability. Back at the office we phonebanked till nine and we just got done adding up the amount of people who we will be coming to General Clark's upcoming events.
Todays my birthday ( for another 2 hours anyways) and this will be a very memorable birthday because campaigning is so much fun, I'll remember this forever :) . The spontinuity of everything and the overwhelming feeling of satisfaction from making a difference is awesome. New Hampshire rocks!!!!!!!

Yesterday, Thursday, we went to UNH in the morning and spoke with Andy Smith, the polling center director of the university. He was very imformative, he filled us in on all the mystery's of how they accurately sample and poll people. He seemed to be a republican from all of his pesamistic views of the deomocratic candidates. Regardless of that, he was really cool.
We got to the office and did phonebanking, we left at three in the afternoon to go to the democratic debate in St. Anthems college. We showed up really early to do visibility, there were so many people there supporting their candidates. It was so much fun, chanting back and forth. Eveything was awesome, we got to shake general clarks hand and his wife remembered we were floridians. Everything was great until Kerry's fireman showed up and started beating up our people, they harrased Britney as well. Collin, the field staff manager saved her from the firemen's harassment. We left after that and went to THE YARD, a bar, to watch the debate. The people asking the questions seemed to protray Kerry in a positive light since he's winning.
Today we went to met Dante Scala at St. Anthems college he signed our books and spoke with us. Once we got to the office we left to go see Clark speak at the Riveria's college, I finally got my picture with him I am so stoked!!!! Back at the office we phone banked all day and we're calling it an early night (the only one) because we have so much school work to do it's unreal.

This morning we went to the Merimack restaurant in Manchester and spoke with Kathryn Sullivan.
We came back to the Nashua campaign office and began phone banking, which is a never ending endevor.
After hours of that I went canvassing, door to door. However Britney and I were dropped off miles from the houses we were suppose to be going to because the map was highlighted wrong. So we finally figured it out and walked two and a half miles in the snow to get to where we were suppose to be. Playing in the snow along the way was great, snow rocks, it's like walking in the sand.
After canvasing we went to a town meeting a little outside Nashua. There were a lot of locals meeting and talking with people from the campaign offices. It was really grassroots oriented. I haven't seen that sort of thing in Florida, but since the whole ordeal was so small maybe I just never saw it.
Deans brother showed up to promote him, Dean needs promotion after his freak out. He looks just like Dean.
It's after 10 and we're still at the office, we're headed back to the hotel soon.

Today was my first day working at the Nashua Clark campaign office. I did more phone banking until we got a call that the CNN bus was going to be filming at a bar in downtown Nashua. So Colin, our field director (he rocks) took us down there to do visability. Then Deans people showed up so we cheered back and forth. Then Kerry's people showed up and chased Deans people away, we stayed for a little while longer, but the CNN bus never showed up so we headed off to see Clark in Manchester. Driving through Nash we saw the CNN bus and tried to get close to it to show our support for Clark but the cops shined us with their spot light and chased us off.
In Manchester Clark spoke before the State of the Union address, then we watched the address, which was crazy. Bush has some unusual views, but anyways, Clark answered questions after the address. On the way out of the theater we met his lovely wife and got a picture with her, see was really nice.
We arrived back at the hotel at 11:30 pm.
